Additional Components
By saying "additional" doesn't mean that it is unnecessary. It just means that it doesn't have a big workload and variety to the job an additional component can do. By removing the following components, you will not be able to do anything on the computer: Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Speaker, and PC Case.

A monitor, as everyone knows, is an electronic device that gives us a display or visual output of a computer. It has a screen made up of LCD or OLED which are the two dominant screen technologies. Without a monitor, you wouldn't be able to see anything.

A keyboard is an input device used with a computer. We could say that the keyboard is an upgraded version of the typewriter. Just like a typewriter, the keyboard composes buttons that are all equivalent to specific letters, numbers, or symbols. Without a keyboard, you'd have nothing to type.

A computer mouse is another input device that basically serves as your hand on an electronic level. The mouse controls the cursor in a GUI, which is used for pointing, dragging, and selecting files, texts, and icons. Without a mouse, you wouldn't be able to click or control anything.

If your monitor doesn't have a speaker, having an extra hardware speaker is needed to hear anything. A speaker is sound-coded output hardware that is inputted into the computer to generate sounds made from the computer's system, specifically, the sound card. Without a speaker, you wouldn't be able to hear anything.

A computer case is used to have all the actual components mounted inside a physical container. This allows easier building and access to all the components as wires used to connect the components are superfluous. By putting the components in a case makes organization and cleanliness.
